The First Visit

In order to understand your constitutional state of health, the first visit requires 1.5-2 hours for adults and 1-1.5 hours for younger children. This time allows you the freedom to speak about all your concerns in a non-rushed, relaxed atmosphere.

As a homeopath, I am there to listen and observe without judgment while taking comprehensive notes on your health history and chief complaints. During the interview you will be asked to describe not only your physical symptoms but also how you are feeling or are affected by your situation.

You may feel that your complaints or even your outlook on life have nothing to do with why you’re seeking treatment in the first place. Yet from a homeopathic perspective, all your feelings, sensations and symptoms are expressive of your unique state.

Many patients find it quite refreshing or even therapeutic to take their time and discuss their own “story”, knowing that they are being heard.

After the consultation, some time is taken to study your case before your homeopathic medicine is prescribed. Each case is different and your treatment plant will be discussed at the end of the visit.
